Position Overview

Carleton School, Meigs County Board of DD, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Director of Education.
Responsible for leading and supervising the instructional team, maintaining program compliance, and helping
to provide excellent services for children with special needs in Meigs County. This leadership position will guide and direct all aspects of the Carleton School Program; partnering with the Instructional Team and other educational entities and will partner with the Meigs County Early Intervention Program to oversee high quality services for babies and their families.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Special Education/Administration
Eligible for Ohio Department of Education Supervisor/Principal Certificate
4 years experience working in the early education, preschool, or school-age special education field
Experience working with students with cognitive and developmental disabilities preferred.
