Salary: Range starts at $60,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the SSA team to ensure the needs of eligible individuals are met in accordance with DODD rules.
  • Assist and oversee all aspects of the SSA team including developing policies and creating effective and efficient procedures for the smooth operation of the SSA team.
  • Assist in determining and monitoring budgets to meet the needs of individuals served, and recruiting and retaining team members when needed.
  • Provides supervisions, technical assistance, and support to staff in the day-to-day provision of services to individuals with developmental disabilities via regular team and one-on-one meetings.
  • Assists in planning and implementing orientation, training, and ongoing staff development opportunities for assigned staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human services, or special education, related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Four years of full-time, supervised, paid work experience in programs or services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Eligible for Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities SSA Supervisor certification
  • Acceptable Criminal Background check
  • Valid Ohio Driver’s License
  • Reliable transportation and vehicle insurance

Compensation, Benefits, and Schedule

  • Salary range starts at $60,000.
  • PERS, hospitalization plan, employee dental plan, vacation, holidays, sick and bereavement leave, in accordance with Board policy.
  • General working hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m.
    However, weekend, evening, and additional hours are required when necessary to meet the needs of individuals and families served.
  • Overtime exempt
